Founded in 1990 in New York City, Bar And Books set a new standard for Cigar Bars worldwide by redefining the concept of hospitality. Our signature is creating an inviting ambience along with a discerning selection of spirits from brandies to whiskies, classic cocktails, light fare, vintage ports, fine wines, with a style of service that is second to none. 

Bar And Books hosts a wide variety of events - ongoing whiskey seminars presented by Ambassadors and Master Distillers from Scotland, cocktail parties, charity benefit events and theme parties.

In addition to our two New York locations Hudson Bar And Books, Lexington Bar And Books. 

 Týnská Bar and Books and Mánesova Bar and Books were opened as sister bars in the Czech Republic, one located in the heart of Prague’s scenic Old Town and the other in a part of Prague called Royal Vinohrady.

In 2015 the Bar and Books chain that originated in New York, USA, and later expanded to Prague, Czech Republic, Celebrates its 25^th Anniversary. On this occasion, Bar and Books has opened a brand new venue in Warsaw, Podwale Bar and Books.
